The Slingshot system is the Softail version of our popular Shake n Bake pipe for the touring bikes! It is a mid length stainless steel stepped headers with a long taper cone to a Widow baffle muffler with our signature Guppy collector giving you the most badass racecar sounding bike out there!

Stepped Primaries

By keeping the header size close to the exhaust port size, exhaust gas velocity is kept high at the port reducing reversion. This is important with the 45 degree v twin because the firing timing is not in equal pulses like a typical 90 degree automotive/ motorcycle engine. Enlarging  the tube with stepped pipes ensures that wall drag losses are minimized keeping the exhaust potential available for maximum power but also allowing for a more broad power band

Guppy Collector Design

The key to the guppy’s success is the 2 to 1  collector that almost completely eliminates exhaust reversion while scavenging the exhaust cylinder during each exhaust event. The one of a kind guppy collector design improves scavenging of the cylinder during the camshafts exhaust and intake overlap events and allows for the maximum amount of air and fuel into the cylinder every sequence of events!! “ the suck zone” draws all the exhaust  gasses out and helps get the most intake air and fuel in!! You will not find a 2-1 collector that works as well as the guppy!!
